Building information regarding COVID

Good Afternoon,
You may have noticed that we just placed a sanitizer station at the basement lobby and the main lobby for you and your visitors to use.
Below is some helpful information from our janitorial team, as well as important reminders for you and your employees.

Our Janitorial crew uses a concentrated multi-purpose cleaning product with germicidal detergent that disinfects, cleans and deodorizes.  The janitorial team will keep the restrooms well stocked with hand soap and paper towels.

Both day and night staff focuses on disinfecting the following high touch areas:

  • Door handles and knobs
  • Light switches
  • Hand-rails
  • Elevator buttons
  • Sinks and faucets
  • Restroom stalls and dispensers
  • Counter tops

How do I get more information?
To help protect yourself and coworkers against infection:

What can I do to stay healthy and promote a healthy workplace?
Simple strategies, such as handwashing and having people stay home when they are sick, will be some of the most effective tools to reduce community transmission of COVID-19.

  • Wash hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
  • Keep alcohol-based hand sanitizer on hand at work and at home.
  • People who are sick should cover their coughs and sneezes using a tissue or the crook of their elbow.  Remember to wash your hands after using a tissue to wipe your nose or mouth.
  • People who are sick should stay home from work until they are well.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth with your unwashed hands.
  • Use tissues when sneezing or coughing and dispose of immediately.
  • Routinely clean frequently touched objects and surfaces, including doorknobs, keyboards and phones.
  • Make sure your workplace has an adequate supply of tissues, soap, paper towels, alcohol-based hand sanitizer and disposable wipes.
  • Avoid close contact with individuals showing signs of fever or persistent cough.
  • If you don’t feel well, seek the advice of your doctor and consider staying home from work or working remotely.
  • Develop a plan for how business can continue to run if employees stay home.

Please distribute this memo to your employees as you see fit.  While there is no definitive understanding regarding how the virus might spread, implementing best practices and cleaning procedures to protect the building tenants, guests and visitors is in place.

Thank you.
